The Problem
- Product Growth: Kira has now expanded its services and offerings and serve a wider range of educational verticals and the website would need to reflect those changes
- Redundant/ Inaccessible pages: The website contains redundant or inactive pages that are no longer being utilized which affects both SEO and user engagement
- Brand Consistency: The Kira platform has undergone and continues to have UX/UI updates, it is essential to ensure alignment between the brand, website, and platform.

The Solution
1. Sitemap Audit
The sitemap audit helped us identify which content needed to be moved, added, or removed, allowing us to simplify the structure and improve site performance. This streamlining enhances user experience by making the navigation clear and more efficient.
We were able to visualize our plans for any net new webpages and understand what updates needed to be made with current webpages.
A few examples how the sitemap audit benefited the redesign:
- Upon reviewing the sitemap, we noticed redundancy in showcasing a general product page that highlighted both "Asynchronous Assessment" and "Live Interviewing" experiences, while individual pages provided more detailed information about the same products.
- There were also four different versions of the "Book a Demo" call-to-action pages that visitors were being directed to. This allowed us to streamline the process by consolidating it into a single page, making it easier to track data by focusing on one URL. This approach simplifies tracking and improves the accuracy of user insights.
- The audit facilitated the archiving of 64 landing pages and the redirection of 5, improving overall site organization.
2. Evolving the Brand's Design Language
The redesign gave us the opportunity to evolve our brand's design language. By collaborating closely with the Product Designer, we explored new ways to showcase the platform, graphic elements, and testimonials. We also included more social proof across our website as we continue to have a growing client base.
Ongoing collaboration with the Product Designer ensures we stay aligned with product changes. This allows us to continually incorporate feedback to improve both the website and the product while keeping the visual language consistent and up to date.
Final Thought
The website redesign was a significant project that involved collaboration across multiple teams within the organization. The Client Success and Sales teams contributed by identifying key value propositions and customer pain points, enhancing messaging for clients and prospects. At the same time, the Product Team provided up-to-date product knowledge, ensuring the website accurately reflected the latest offerings and features. This collaborative effort was crucial in shaping how we market Kira Talent.
